On Tuesday, December 17, 2019, SNF and basketball legend Panagiotis Giannakis introduced Field of Life, a new nonprofit organization and initiative anchored in Giannakis’s old neighborhood in Southwestern Attica.

Preparing fresh, marinated chicken from scratch may not seem like a big deal at home. Now add in hundreds of schoolchildren, federal nutrition guidelines, and a kitchen that needs updating, and it becomes a gargantuan task.

Los Angeles County’s Antelope Valley is at the center of a new philanthropic effort to prevent child maltreatment and help support vulnerable children and families.

The program focuses on lower income neighborhoods where residents tend to be more vulnerable to dirty air.
