The Foundation Lawyers Network is a Philanthropy New York professional peer network designed to support in-house General Counsels at PNY member grantmaking organizations.
Membership for this network is open to General Counsels (including Assistant and Associate General Counsels) working at private foundations and other grantmaking organizations. Members share knowledge, concerns and best practices to enhance professional expertise and skills related to legal work in the philanthropic context.
Benefits and Activities
- Discussion group to post and answer confidential topics and share policies.
- Two CLE-accredited meetings a year focused on broad topics submitted by the Foundation Lawyers Network members.
- One round-table discussion meeting to discuss top-priority topics and provide an opportunity to share resources and strategies.
- Opportunities to meet peer counsel at grantmaking institutions.
