Strategic volunteerism is a critical component of how corporations harness the time and talent of employees at all levels to support nonprofit partners and meet community needs. The Service for Impact working group, rooted in the principles of Reimagining Service, provides a unique opportunity for both corporate grantmakers and corporate volunteer managers to foster a peer network, share successes and challenges, brainstorm on solutions, and explore new opportunities to make a difference in society while supporting business objectives through volunteerism.
In the November 12th meeting, we will focus upon how employee volunteerism can serve true community needs and also solve business challenges such as retention, engagement score, and talent development. Registered attendees will have the opportunity in advance to share examples of business challenges they have solved or will solve through high-impact volunteer engagements that address community needs.
