The Funders of Women and Girls Network invites you to a candid conversation with Sara K. Gould, Atlantic Philanthropies Senior Fellow at the Foundation Center and former president & CEO of the Ms. Foundation for Women, to explore social justice philanthropy through a women and girls lens.

Sara Gould is a recognized thought leader and expert in the philanthropic sector. Her experience in social justice philanthropy, leadership development, and grantmaking with a gender, race and class lens provides an opportunity for a stimulating discussion amongst funders.  Based on work in her fellowship, her time at Ms., and her experiences in the broader philanthropic community, Sara will offer reflections on trends in social justice philanthropy and on what it means to connect philanthropy, women and social justice.

  • How funding women and girls, and using a gender, race and class lens in grantmaking is more than funding a “population group” – it is a social justice necessity.
