This webinar is hosted by our partner, Fair Representation in Redistricting, who has extended an invitation to PNY members.
New York State is in the process of redrawing its congressional map, as ordered by the state appeals court in December. As the state redistricting commission’s February 28 deadline approaches, the Fair Representation in Redistricting funder collaborative is convening funders and philanthropy serving organizations for a virtual strategic discussion on how to ensure that the new maps fairly represent communities of color – and what the process and outcomes of the redraw might indicate for policy reform priorities in the years ahead.
The virtual briefing will be offered in two parts: A non-partisan 501(c)(3) presentation and discussion, followed by a standalone informational discussion of partisan implications for those who wish to remain on the line.
