PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Philanthropy New York's Foundation Administrators Network is a resource for those working in foundation administration.

The network meets quarterly to give participants an opportunity to connect with colleagues in person, discuss topics of interest in a confidential setting, and meet Philanthropy New York staffers who support the network. New members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

FAN Meeting
10:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Balancing work and home-life responsibilities is a challenge.  Advancements in technology, legislative requirements, and employer mindsets have opened the door to the possibilities and challenges of workplace flexibility.  At the next FAN meeting, communications consultant, Robin Hardman will join us to help answer:  What is workplace flexibility? Why should my organization be thinking about workplace flexibility? What are our options, and which ones are right for my organization?

In addition, FAN member Gail Pesyna, VP for Human Resources and Program Management at the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, will share her organization’s experience implementing a workplace flexibility program.

Lunch (Optional)
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM

Immediately following the meeting, Wellspring Advisors will host an informal lunch so we may continue our conversations. Please be sure to indicate whether or not you will be staying for lunch when you register.

REMINDER: As always, creating a confidential space at network meetings is very important.  Please do not share specific details from the meetings with individuals outside the network.
