Philanthropy New York's Foundation Administrators Network (FAN) creates a supportive environment for administrative, HR, and operations professionals to share knowledge and resources, test ideas with peers, and strengthen professional skills.  Since FAN members often wear many hats at their foundations, we dedicate each quarterly meeting to a specific topic under the broad umbrella of administration.

Join us on July 18th for a lively conversation on human resources.  We are bringing together three HR leaders in our field to share their passions through short TED-style talks.  Each speaker will choose an area of their work that most excites them and share their best practices, lessons learned, opportunities for success and tips for avoiding common pitfalls.

Speakers

  • Lisa Cribari, Chief Human Resources Officer, Ford Foundation, Importance of feedback in transforming organizations
  • Diana Davenport, Vice President for Administration, The Commonwealth Fund, Hiring as the most important step in creating a successful and satisfied employee
  • Samantha Gilbert, Chief Human Resources Officer, The Rockefeller Foundation, Establishing and embedding core organizational values

Designed for

Members who have responsibility for foundation administration, including human resources, finance, and operations.
