Join CECP and Philanthropy NY for an opportunity to connect with fellow corporate social responsibility colleagues in-person.

CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) teams are a key component of how corporations harness the time and talent of employees to meet community needs. They are also often constrained by small budgets allocated to small teams. In this session, we will discuss examples of how CSR teams can leverage formal and informal employee engagement groups to identify allies that champion corporate volunteerism.

What will you learn?

  • How CSR teams have embedded a culture of service throughout their organization
  • What policies and infrastructure support collaboration between CSR and employee engagement groups
  • How to identify champions to amplify corporate service opportunities and encourage personal volunteerism

Who should attend?

Corporate funders and CECP-affiliated companies.

Speakers

  • Beth Spurgeon, Director of ESG, PwC
  • Lyndsay Harris Kyei, Director of Global Impact Social Investments, ServiceNow
  • Kari Niedfeldt-Thomas, Managing Director, CECP

What else should you know?

The Service for Impact working group provides a unique opportunity for both corporate grantmakers and corporate volunteer managers to foster a peer network, share successes and challenges, brainstorm on solutions, and explore new opportunities to make a difference in society while supporting business objectives through volunteerism.

This is an in-person event. Space is limited and will be first come, first serve basis.
