The Dexter F. and Dorothy H. Baker Foundation is currently seeking a Foundation Director to lead its work in the Lehigh Valley. The ideal candidate is an innovative, values-aligned leader who can form strong relationships in the community, work with the Board to develop and execute strategy, and oversee local grantmaking.
The search is being led by Boldly Go Philanthropy. The Foundation recently engaged Boldly Go to manage the Foundation’s governance, grantmaking, and operations. The Foundation Director will be a member of the Boldly Go team and report to a Boldly Go Co-Managing Partner while operating with a high degree of autonomy and working closely with the Foundation’s Trustees. Given the emphasis on community engagement, the position will be based in the Lehigh Valley.
The Foundation Director will identify, recommend, structure, and manage grants in the Lehigh Valley; develop trusted relationships with and add value to grantees and partners; and represent the Foundation in the community. Please see the job description attached for more information.
