The coronavirus pandemic has exacerbated the conditions criminal (in)justice system. In the last two years, reformation of this system has gained unparalleled traction in New York and across the US, with reforms such as #LessIsMoreNY Act signed into law. However, the work is far from over. With a changing political landscape locally in NYC, at the state level, and nationally, it is critical that philanthropy continues to play an important role in investing in the infrastructure that supports for people impacted by it to, ultimately, transform systems for justice and safety for all.

Join us for a discussion on how grant makers are contributing to movement toward criminal legal reform and transformation today.
